Back Issues may still be available

In 2007, I was guest editor for Railroad Heritage Magazine, Center for Railroad Photography and Art and invited two other writers to be contributors, Doug Riddell, Amtrak engineer, author and writer for several railroad magazines and Linda Neimann, author, teacher and former SP employee. If you're interested in the finer side of railroad history, check out this site. They produce a great magazine and have several traveling exhibits and an annual conference..

Encyclopedia of North American Railroads is completed and for sale. Linda Neimann and I were contributors and wrote a synopsis of railroad women's history.

I've been writing about railroad women's history for almost 20 years, but my husband's illness required a shift in focus. The book is near completion, just a bit lengthy, but not quite as huge as the Harry Potter books. I've had two publishers interested in it, but they would like it smaller. Volumes have been written about railroads and "men," give us break and give "women" their dues!
